Frank Pitman and Beacon Hill Hit a High Note

For the Philharmonic House of Design in Laguna Beach, California, designer Frank Pitman partnered with Beacon Hill and Robert Allen to create a symphony of color in the living room. Pitman devised an elegant, European style space that relies on the power of contrast using fabrics in magenta, scarlet and navy against a backdrop of ivory and cream. Pitman chose Beacon Hill’s Silk Lantern in Scarlet for the chairs and Silk Ocean in Scarlet, Samurai Bloom in Magenta and Silk Halo in Gold for the throw pillows, with softer tones, like Robert Allen’s Grand Chenille in Cloud on the sectional sofa.
